Kay Boles Folliett, 75, died on July 22, 2014, surrounded by family and friends.

She was a native of Dayton, Tn., and lived in Hixson at the time of her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lucille Farnsworth Kyle, husbands, Jim Boles and Mark Folliett; and brother, Foster Kyle.

Kay, who was a deeply spiritual person, never met a stranger. She was a devoted daughter and wife. Butterflies, Harley Davidsons, dogs, her family and Dayton Mountain brought her great joy.

She is survived by her stepson, Sgt. 1st Class Kevin (Ashley) Folliett, Ft. Bragg, N.C.; stepdaughter, Jennifer Folliett, Cleveland, Tn.; grandsons, Liam Folliett and Alex Jones; an aunt, nieces and many cousins; best friend and caregiver, Sarah Poole, and a host of loving friends.

Memorial services will be held at Kay’s parish, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 848 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415, on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. Visitation will follow the service.

Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, 7625 Hamilton Park Dr., Chattanooga, Tn. 37421; or St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
