Brenda Bice
Brenda Kay Shannon Bice was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2024 at age 75, surrounded by her loving family, Chip (Lindsey) Bice and Jordan Crowe.
She was born to Gene and Ila Shannon on Oct. 13, 1948. After graduation from high school, Brenda pursued a career in the insurance industry for 40 plus years. Brenda was a lifelong member of Middle Valley Baptist Church where she met her late husband, Gene Bice. Together, they had two children Carla Crowe and Chip Bice.
Brenda was preceded in death by parents, Gene and Ila Shannon, spouse, Gene Bice, daughter, Carla Crowe, and brother Donnie Shannon.
She is survived by her son, Chip (Lindsey) Bice, brother, Jerry (Donna) Shannon and grandchildren; Jordan Crowe, Hannah Walden, Emily Walden, Ridgela Kile, and Baleigh Bell.
Brenda's family will receive friends at Companion Funeral and Crematory from 4-7 p.m. on May 7, with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m. Zach Wyatt and Jordan Crowe will be conducting the memorial service.
