Bring Champy's To Hixson

It's a shame we have so many gun battles in certain parts of the city. An outside could come in, look at a map with the number of gun incidents and quickly formulate that most of inside Chattanooga city limits, there is a problem. There should always be a police presence in that area due to the close proximity of UTC housing...either on foot, bicycle or stationary cars. If Set Champion feels he needs to move his awesome business away from there, I for one, would most gladly welcome him to Hixson. I wish he could have moved here before that overpriced ghost town of an establishment, Big Chicken did...that place is not fairing well. Maybe it would do better in the area where Champy's ... Dumping Fees Are Out Of Control - And Response

I said dumping fees are out of control, but in fact they are being controlled by Capital Waste Services. Capital Waste owns and, or operates, all the landfills and transfer stations in a 50-mile radius of Chattanooga. They have implemented a two-ton minimum charge at $55 per ton at the transfer station in Soddy Daisy. I am a handy man who builds decks and does light remodeling. Every time I go to empty my trailer it costs me $110 no matter what or how much is in it. I have called Capital Waste corporate offices only to be told I cannot be directed to a supervisor nor will they return my calls. The Montgomery Biscuits (12-10) came back from a two-run deficit and won 3-2 in 10 innings on a walk-off walk against the Chattanooga Lookouts (5-16) on Tuesday night at Riverwalk Stadium.
