Sandra Cross
Sandra Jean Proctor Cross, 62, of Ringgold, died on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Cross had lived all of her life in the North Georgia area and worked for Fortress Furniture Company for 17 years and Southern Champion Tray Company for 15 years. She loved her family and friends with all of her heart and she was always the life of the family gatherings. She was always full of life and she loved to laugh; her laugh was unique and no one will ever laugh like her. Her vast collection of photos proves her love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Butch (Bruce) Cross; son, Timothy Cross; father, Curtis Proctor; mother, Virginia Proctor Miller; sisters, Peggy McClure and Imogene Rogers; and niece, Paula Steele.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce “Wayne” and Patty Cross of Ringgold, Hayden Cross of Chickamauga, Labron Cross of Rossville, and Colleen Cross of Chickamauga; grandchildren, Stephen Lambert, Kaitlyn Cross, Charles “Booger” Alexander, Jennifer Miller, Zach Lambert, Thomas Cross, Sandra Nicole Cross and Gaston Cross; great-grandchildren, Brennon Cooper and Jayden Lambert and Zach Miller; sisters, Wanda Lynn of Chickamauga and Francis Lowe of Ooltewah; niece, Cindy Alexander; nephews, Jesse McClure, Michael McClure, Carliss Shirley, Randy Steele, Timmy Edgeman, Franky Lowe, and Pete Lowe.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 11 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Neal Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Sunday and Monday from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
