Mary Mosier
Mary Jones Mosier, 84, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Mosier was retired from Olan Mills with 34 years of service and attended Red Bank Presbyterian Church.
She was a daughter of the late Jesse and Celia Jones and was also preceded in death by a son, William Kenneth Mosier, two brothers and stepmother, Clarice Jones.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Mosier; two daughters, Valenda (Dennis) Frye, Ooltewah; Rhonda (Tommy) Hanes, Bryant, Al.; four sisters, Teresa Stevens, Sylvania, Alabama; Glenda Clayton, Ooltewah; Sonja Anderson and Ateka Jones, both of Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Dean Bates, Hixson; Gary Bates, Soddy Daisy; Laura Pattillo, Valley, Alabama; Amber Hanes, Bryant, Alabama; five great-grandchildren, special cousin, Janice Gross; several nieces and nephews, special friends, Donna Holcomb, June Brown, Bill and Martha Stone.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Roger DeHart officiating. Interment will be in National Cemetery with Allen Mosier, Tommy Hanes, Dennis Frye, Micheal Pattillo, Gary Bates and Dean Bates serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Labron Mosier.
The family will receive friends from 4–8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity or to Alhambra Shrine Transportation Fund.
