HCSO Co-Hosts 2024 Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony

Friday morning Sheriff Austin Garrett and the men and women of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office joined with Chattanooga Police Chief Celeste Murphy and the Chattanooga Police Department to co-host the 2024 Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony at the site of the Hamilton County Law Enforcement Memorial. In addition to HCSO and CPD personnel, law enforcement agencies throughout the county and region also participated in the ceremony as they collectively honored those amongst their ranks who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for the community’s safety. Several events will be taking place in the coming weeks in Chattanooga and they will be able to sell beer. At the Thursday meeting of the Chattanooga Beer Board, several applied for and received a temporary beer permit. An empty lot at 1511 Williams St., will be the location of Southside Food Truck Park during the month of June on Saturdays from10 in the morning to 10 at night.
