She was a teacher at OLPH Catholic School and St. Stephen Country Day School. She was later a school patrol officer with the Chattanooga School Patrol. As a member of the Chattanooga Track Club, she was an avid runner, winning more than 100 10k trophies in her age group. She happily gave up these activities to help care for her many grandchildren.

Graveside services will be on Friday, April 19, at 1:30 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Father Manuel Pe?rez. We will be wearing mom’s favorite pastel colors at her service in her honor.

The family would like to thank Jackie, Hearth Hospice, and the staff at Hickory Valley Retirement for the wonderful and loving care that they provided to mom.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Hearth Hospice, 513 Georgia Avenue, Chattanooga, Tn. 37403.
