Brenda Elizabeth Dickson, 78, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

She was born May 25, 1945, in Bennettsville, South Carolina to the late Aileen Elizabeth and Jasper Turnage (J.T.) Wynn. She was preceded in death by her husband, William David Dickson, and her brother, James Turnage Wynn.

Brenda graduated from Anderson Junior College, where she was a cheerleader. She and her husband owned and operated Fortune Personnel Consultants of Chattanooga. She attended Tyner United Methodist Church, where she and her husband were actively involved for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, including watching them participate in various sports.

She is survived by her daughters, Marcie Rumfelt (K.P) of Jasper, In., and Lyn Douglas (Patrick) of Dalton; her brother David Wynn of Chattanooga; grandchildren Walt Douglas and Will Douglas both of Dalton; Riley Rumfelt and Jackson Rumfelt both of Jasper, In.; David's children Linda Jo (Morris) Walter, Steve (Cindy) Reddy, Conne Kalweit, Brooke (Kurt) Navratil, and David (Robin) Dickson and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pastor Amanda Dean will perform the funeral service at Tyner United Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 2, at 11 a.m. with a receiving line at 10 a.m.

Graveside services will be held at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, Tn.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
