Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist To Hold 4th Annual Bible Conference And Spring Revival

The community is invited to Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church's 4th Annual Bible Conference and Spring Revival, a three phase Christ-centered event featuring gospel music workshop training, sound biblical and life-application training and lecturing and preaching from God’s word. 

“Each year, Orchard Knob’s Bible Conference and Spring Revival serves the community at-large and provides excellent learning resources for leaders and laity from churches, non-profits, area businesses and other ministries.  Through this conference, lives are changed and ministries are better equipped for service," said E. Lamar Young, president, LifeLine Ministries CRS, Inc.

The 4th Annual Bible Conference and Spring Revival will be experienced in three different phases:

Phase One:

Music Ministry Workshop – Wednesday, April 25 and Thursday, April 26 from 6-8 p.m.
Singers and musicians will be under the leadership of artist Pastor Marcellus Barnes. "Those gifted/called to the ministry of music will sharpen their skills under the talented leadership of Pastor Marcellus Barnes," officials said.

Kick Off Praise and Worship Service – Friday, April 27 at 6:15 p.m.  The Music Ministry Workshop will culminate in a praise and worship service where God will be praised in song and through the preaching of God’s Word, which will be delivered by Dr. William T. Glynn, senior pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Ft. Worth, Tx.

Phase Two:

Seminars that Educate and Empower – Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.  Seminars will range from Christ-centered teaching, to wisdom and knowledge in various life-application genres, to include but not be limited to, topics such as: The Spiritual Life of the Preacher; Making Sense out of Scripture, Christ-Exalting Music; Financial Freedom; In sickness and in Health; and The Titus Two Man and The Titus Two Woman.
    
Phase Three: Spring Revival – Sunday, April 29 – Tuesday, May 1

Sunday, April 29 at 9:30 a.m. - Morning Worship with guest preacher, Dr. Marvin T. Smith, senior pastor, Mt. Olive Institutional Baptist Church, Saginaw, Mi.

Sunday, April 29 at 6:15 p.m. - Revival with lecturer, Dr. Daryn Crenshaw, senior pastor, Christ Community Baptist Church, Racine, Wi. and guest preacher, Dr. E. L. Branch, senior pastor, Third New Hope Baptist Church, Detroit, Mi.

Monday, April 30 and Tuesday, May 1 at 6:15 p.m. - Revival with lecturer, Dr. Marvin T. Smith and guest preacher, Dr. E. L. Branch, senior pastor, Third New Hope Baptist Church, Detroit, Mi.
