Warren Wright Miller, 73, of Signal Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 due to complications of CLL.  He was born in Seattle, WA on September 11, 1944, lived in many different places growing up but Signal Mountain was home.  He was a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church.

He had a long career in retail music store management having worked for Record Bar, Paradise Music and Turtles Music.  He went on to work in the grocery business and recently retired from Food City.

Warren volunteered for 15 years with CONTACT of Chattanooga and had recently begun volunteering at the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Osborne and Elizabeth Miller; two brothers, Oz Miller and Curt Miller; parents in law, Earl and Gerry Shaw; brother in law, Beezy Shaw.

He is survived by the love of his life, Trudy Shaw Miller with whom he shared 40 years of marriage; son, Dustin Miller of Nashville, TN.; daughter, Beth (Al) Florez of Boulder, CO.; brother, Russell (Kathie) Miller of Groveland, FL.; sisters in law, Sandy (Larry) Webb of Lookout Mountain, GA., Dolores Miller of Clermont, FL. and June Miller of Newport Beach, CA. as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Memorial Hospital, Hospice of Chattanooga and Alexian Health Care for their compassionate care and support.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. 

Memorial contributions in Warren’s memory may be made to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, Hospice of Chattanooga or a favorite charity.
