James Adric "Jim" Moore
James Adric "Jim" Moore, who was born October 10, 1923, passed away March 15, 2018 at the age of 94. He was retired from Astec Industries, Chattanooga, and was a member of the North Sand Mountain Masonic Lodge No. 920.
He was a lifelong resident of Bryant and a member of Macklin Baptist Church, Rosalie, Ala.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Moore, parents Callie Moore and Balt Moore; sisters Dora Winters and Alene Reeves; brothers Willard Moore, Johnny Moore, Cecil Moore, and Hobert Moore.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Toni Moore, Chickamauga, Georgia, Ronnie and Linda Moore, Trenton, Georgia, Dana and Jo Ann Moore, Pisgah, Alabama, and Greg and Tammy Moore, Pisgah, Alabama; grandchildren, Tiffany and husband Chris Marlowe, Ben Moore, Jennifer and husband Matt McKelvey, Jamie Tinker, Kelly Tinker, and Marty Frazier, Skylar and husband Bricken Cope, Laci and husband Robert Ryan, Jeremy Moore, Justin Moore, and Samantha Smith; great-grandchildren Raegan and Connor Marlowe, Trevor Carrell, Tyson Higdon, Avery Kate McKelvey, Eden McKelvey; brother Earl Moore, Sale Creek, Tennessee; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. EDT Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the Bryant Chapel with Brother Wayne Winters and Brother Bill Bass officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Friday 3-8 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
