Timothy Daniel Knight, 48, of East Ridge, was carried away by angels on Thursday morning in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph C. Maxwell and Gladys M. Ball, William H. Knight, Sr. and Katherine W. Knight; beloved sister, Kristie M. Knight; and aunts, Sharon C. Smith and Sheila R. Smith. He has been reunited with many family members and close friends.
Left behind for now to cherish his memory are his father, Daniel G. Knight; mother, Pamelia K. (James W.) Bywaters; siblings, Amber James and Shana Knight; mother of his children, Angela M. Ables; son, Michael D. (Angie) Knight; daughters, Gabrielle M. Knight and Angela F. Knight; grandchild, Joshua I. Knight; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and many friends that he has touched along the way, too numerous to count.
Tim was a long-life roofer, who loved what he did. He always had a smile and a joke.
Services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, with Bro. Jesse Hall officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 2-8 p.m. in the parlor of the funeral home.
