Smith, Jaqueline "Jackie" (Rock Springs)

Jaqueline “Jackie” Smith, 82, of Rock Springs and formerly of Atlanta, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. She was of the Southern Baptist faith.

Jackie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles F. Smith, Jr.; parents, Clarence, Sr. and Kathleen Carder; brothers, Clarence Carder, Jr., Grady Carder and Joseph Carder.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Charles, Jr (Debbie) Smith of Rock Springs, Duane Lamar Smith of Kernsville, NC and Stephen Paul Smith; sisters, Donnie Woods, Mary Carder and Ladele Tolson; brother, Raymond Carder; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21 at Greenwood Cemetery, 1173 Cascade Cir SW, Atlanta, GA 30311. The family will receive friends Sunday from 9 a.m.-noon at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, Ga.
