Lynette Morgan
Lynette Abrams Morgan, 81 of Flintstone, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 21, 2017.
She had lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life and attended Valley View Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Maggie Abrams; her loving husband of more than 56 years, Fred Morgan; sisters, Trudy Thomas and Irene Denton and three brothers, Wesley, Willie Joe and James Abrams.
Survivors include her children, Clifford and Donna Morgan of Chickamauga, Brenda and Eddie Anderson and Peggy Morgan, all of Flintstone; brother, Milton and Evelyn Abrams of Steens, Ms.; sisters, Frances Bell of Macon, Ms., Barbara Edmondson of Columbus, Ms., and Donnie Nix of Clinton, Ms.; four grandchildren, LaTisha Morgan, Daniel Anderson, Jonathan Morgan and Rachel and Will Brock; four great-grandchildren, Autumn Morgan, Gabe Morgan, Michaella Morgan and Abigail Brock; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 23, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Reverend Jeff Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. on Sunday, and prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
