Jackie Eugene Shoemake
Jackie Eugene Shoemake "Gene" Jr., 61, passed away on June 26, 2017, following a short illness. 

He is survived by his son, Jessie Eugene Shoemake of Huntsville, Tx.; his parents, Jack and Sue Shoemake of Englewood, Fl.; his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Angi Shoemake of Sarasota, Fl.; his niece, Nichole McDaniel of Sarasota, Fl., and his best friend and solid rock, Sarah Hamilton of Jonesboro, Ga. He also leaves behind dear friends, Carl and Martha Stainbrook of Jonesboro, Ga., and Roger Godwin of Chattanooga.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 29, at noon in Cofer Cemetery, Georgetown, Tn.

In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to Boy Scout Troop #136 c/o Martha Stainbrook, 7847 Tara Road, Jonesboro, Ga. 30230
