Sam Scholtz, 85, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017.

 

Mr. Scholtz was born and raised in Chattanooga.  He retired from Northside Upholstery, was of the Baptist faith, and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War.

 

Surviving are his daughters, Jimmie Hansard, Jerrie Rogers and Jackie Scholtz; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

 

Visitation will be on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

 

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, at the funeral home.

 

Burial will follow at Old McDonald Cemetery.

 

Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel, Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.  7414 Old Lee HWY, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
