Johnetta Manning
Johnetta Wagner Manning, 75, was born to Charles and Abretta Wagner on September 12, 1942, in Temple, Georgia. She departed this earthly life on December 14, 2017.
Johnetta was a 1960 graduate of Howard High School. She attended Tennessee State University majoring in Business administration.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Abretta Wagner; sister, Zephyr Wagner; great granddaughter, Trinity Fletcher; two grandmothers, Nettie Perkins and Retha Parks; aunt, Carrie Lee Perkins.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted daughter, Shun Manning who was by her side a the time of her death; two granddaughters, Hollie Fletcher and Ashlee Manning; five great grandchildren; father, Charles Wagner; sister, Jacquelyn Blaylock; brother, Charles Wagner, Jr.; two nephews, Rodrick Fagain and Ricky Blaylock; close cousins, Michael (Lydia) Perkins, Deborah Perkins and Eric Perkins; other cousins and relatives; long life friends, Rose Bouie and Betty Collins and many others; special thanks to Charles Blaylock, George Phinney, Edgar Wherry and Maronica Tipps.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 22, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church at noon with Pastor Wayne Johnson officiating.
The body will lie in state on Thursday, Dec. 21, after noon.
