Steven Wayne Wheeler, 60, of Ringgold, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017. Steve was born in Anderson, In., and had been a longtime resident of the Chattanooga, north Georgia area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, and had attended Crosspointe Church in Dalton, Ga. Steve worked at Roadtec Inc. for 36 years, and he loved his Roadtec family dearly. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons, and also working outside around the house.
He is preceded in death by his mother Elsie Mary Wheeler.
Survivors are his wife of 18 years, Sherrie Wheeler; sons, Jeff (Jessica) Wheeler, and Justin O’Bryant; daughter, Elise Wheeler; father, Virgil Wheeler; sister, Vicki Lowe; and grandsons, Riley and Nathaniel Wheeler.
Funeral services will be noon on Tuesday, Dec. 12 in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Mark Tatum and Don Tatum officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
