Gentry, Genevelyn Fowler (Dalton)

Genevelyn Fowler Gentry, 76, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016.

She was the daughter of the late Claude and Vivian Gilbert Fowler; and was also preceded in death by her husband, William Frank “Jack” Gentry; and her brother, Sanford Fowler.

Genevelyn is survived by her son, Mitchell Gentry of Atlanta; daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia Langley, Jackie Silva and Charles McCulley and Kathryn and Kasey Jaber all of Dalton; sisters, Genevie Harris, Regina Fowler, Sue Ellen Rittenhouse and Claudine Parker all of Dalton; brothers, Tony Fowler, Norman Fowler and Norris Fowler all of Dalton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Phillips and Richard “Rich” Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Boanerges Cemetery in Old Fort, TN.

The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 12 after 5 p.m. at Love Funeral Home.
