Lisa Annette Bearden, 56, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Friday, April 24, 2015, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mrs. Bearden was born Sept. 4, 1958, the daughter of Betty Jo Payne Smith and the late Rev. Johnny Smith.  She was a loving wife, devoted mother and the best grandmother.  She loved to sing, and was a great singer herself,  had a great sense of humor and enjoyed all her friends on facebook.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Bearden, mother, Betty Smith, children, Josuha Dodson, Jonathan Dodson, Amanda Dodson, brothers, Gary Smith, Phil Smith, sister, Vickie L. McWhorter, grandchildren, Garrison Ray Dodson, Paisley Ace Dodson, Ryder Gage Dupree.

Funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, April 27, at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rickey Biddle and Brother Ralph McWhorter officiating with interment in the West Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Chris Smith, Marty Smith, Jason McWhorter, David Evans, Dalton Bearden, Stanley Shaffers, William McWhorter, Greg Bearden. Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Luallen, David Christopher and all other Redmond EMTs.

Mrs. Bearden will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made toward lung cancer research.
