Walter McClain
Walter “Whitt” McClain, 67, of Rossville, Georgia died on Saturday morning, August 30, 2014.
Walter worked at Astec Industrial and Ben Barker Fabricator until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hayford McClain, Sr.; mother, Josephine McClain; brother, Johnny McClain; sisters, Gloria Jean and Alma McClain;
He is survived by his wife, Priscilla McClain; son, Brandon McClain; sisters, Hazel Smith, Ann Watkins, Linda Sparks, Alberta Davis and Alice McClain; brothers, Hayford McClain, Jr. and Albert McClain.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 5, at noon at New Salem Baptist Church with Pastor Trammell officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
The body will li in state after noon on Thursday, Sept. 4, and the family will receive friends from 6–7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
