District 4 Summit Set For May 1

The 2014 District 4 Summit and information meeting will be held on Thursday, May 1, at the East Brainerd Church of Christ, 7745 E. Brainerd Road, from 6-7:30 p.m.

Jennifer Flynn, TDOT community relations officer and regional liaison, will give an update on the East Brainerd Road expansion and information on the Phase 1 expansion of Gunbarrel Road.

Bert Kuyrkendall, assistant director of the Transportation Department will speak about paving and complete streets projects in District 4.

Sgt. Wayne Jefferson will speak about home security and how and why to do a home inventory. 

There will also be a question and answer session with City Councilman Larry Grohn.
