Louis Gordon Oakey, 93, a native of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, December 16, 2014.
He was a veteran of World War II and retired from the U.S. Post Office. Mr. Oakey was a member of 2nd Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Oakey.
Survivors include his sons, John Oakey and Walter Oakey; granddaughter, Melissa Oakey; and great-granddaughter, Madison Simpson.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
