Graham, Thomas Ronald "Ron" (Chickamauga)

Thomas Ronald "Ron" Graham, 65, of Chickamauga, Georgia, a lifelong lover of the sea, cast off all lines, got under weigh and gently sailed into uncharted waters Monday, October 27, 2014. His family was with him and bade him farewell on his final journey.

He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Ray Allen & Mary Gladys CraneGraham. He was a graduate of Gordon Lee Memorial High School, Class of 1967. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1968 – 1974. While in the Navy he was a stereo rangefinder operator, director tracker and computer operator and was honorably discharges as E-4. He enjoyed traveling, loved to tell stories of his adventures, El Cordobes in Spain, and talk about scuba diving with friends. He retired earlier this year from Glaze Supply Company in Dalton, GA.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Cynthia Revis, one year ago to the day of Ron's passing. 
He is survived by his children and their spouses: Kevin & Tonya Graham of Dalton, GA, Jennifer & Mike O'Brien of Chattanooga, TN, Keith & Rhonda Graham of West Palm Beach, FL, grandchildren: Hannah, Dylan, Jaxon, and Jude Graham, Madeline and Laurel O'Brien; much loved siblings: Carol Lopez, Lonnie & Mary Graham of Ringgold, GA, Jack & Betty Graham, Al & Linda Graham, and Connie Bartet all of Chickamauga, GA. Ron had many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to send a special thank you to all the wonderful nurses and CNAs with Hospice of Chattanooga; we will be forever grateful for the care they provided and compassion they showed everyone.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Burial to be held Thursday at 11:30 am graveside in Chattanooga Veterans National Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes – Chickamauga Chapel.
