PAID ON THE JOB TRAINING - NO PRIOR MEDICAL EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Technicians transport our testing trailers to various manufacturing sites throughout the southeastern United States and perform audio, pulmonary function, vision and respirator fit tests for our clients' employees.
• Position requires extensive multi-state travel, often traveling Mon – Fri, home on weekends
• Must be willing to drive to various locations, mostly southeastern U.S.
• Starting salary ranges $24,000 - $26,000 based on experience, compensation increases once technician becomes fully-trained and capable of transporting trailers and performing hearing tests. Compensation for trained technicians exceeds $30,000.
• Technicians will occasionally have several days during the week not traveling, but will be on-call to assist with office work or equipment maintenance, if needed.
• Per diem for meals of $30 provided when traveling, all travel expenses covered
• Basic working knowledge of computers, for example: email, uploading, downloading, copying and attaching files
• Ability to master our industry-specific software during on the job training
• Technician must be organized and detail-oriented, a self-starter, work independently with minimal supervision, able and willing to follow directions
• Technician must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability and willingness to learn to pull our 24', 32', 38' trailers with the company’s dually trucks
• Hours may vary between days, evenings and nights from one week to the next
• Hotel and transportation expenses covered
• Ability to qualify for a DOT medical card (cost covered by company)
• Class A CDL a PLUS (although not required upon hire)
