Nominations Open For United Way's Celebrate Awards

United Way of Greater Chattanooga announces the opening of nominations for the Celebrate Awards, an annual celebration that shines a spotlight on the efforts of local nonprofits and volunteers dedicated to making the community a better place for all. 

With five awards up for grabs, the Celebrate Awards recognize outstanding contributions in the following categories: 

Nonprofit Organization of the Year Award 

Nonprofit Leader of the Year Award 

Innovation in Action Award 

Volunteer of the Year Award 

Live United not Divided Award

"We work alongside so many incredible nonprofits in our community striving to improve our community every day," said Terran Anderson, vice president of Community and Corporate Engagement at United Way of Greater Chattanooga. "The Celebrate Awards is an opportunity for us to say thank you for their dedication and rolling out the red carpet for nonprofit professionals is an honor.” 

Nominations are now open, and the community is encouraged to participate in recognizing those who make a difference. Submit a nomination at https://rebrand.ly/NominateToday.

The 2024 Celebrate Awards will take place on May 21 at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre, starting at 5:30 p.m. Attendees can expect happy hour cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a show worth dressing up for, said officials.
