SmartBank announces the promotion of Cortney Pierce to senior vice president, director of treasury management. 

"Ms. Pierce has been an integral part of the SmartBank team and has shown exemplary dedication and commitment to the company," officials said.

Pierce joined SmartBank in 2009 and has over 14 years of experience in the banking industry.  She holds a bachelor of arts in language and world business. with a concentration in Spanish, from the University of Tennessee. She currently sits on the board for the Girls & Boys Club of the Smoky Mountains, where she has recently been awarded a Volunteer Service Award as well as a National Service to Youth Award by The Boys & Girls Club of America.
