Sarah Moore
Sarah Ann Hixon Moore, 71, of Jasper, Tennessee, died on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at her home.
A 1966 graduate of South Pittsburg High School and Edmondson Business College, she was a former employee of Hamilton County Criminal Court and Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
She was a member of Christ Church Episcopal and was preceded in death by her father, Charles Hixon, and step-dad, Charlie Powers.
She is survived by her husband, John W. Moore, Jr., of Jasper; mother, Mrs. Virginia Powers, of South Pittsburg, Tn.; daughter, Kimerlen Spake Moore, and her husband, Tommy Spake, of Chattanooga; son, John W. “Trae” Moore III, and his wife, Laura Candler, of Sewanee, Tn.; grandchildren, Lyrah Spake and Rudy Moore; step-sister, Evelyn Bridges; and special sister, Carolyn Skyles.
Funeral services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 3 p.m. Central time with Randy Smith, Reverend Bruce Potter, and Reverend Kim Hobby officiating. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday from 11 a.m. Central time until the time of service.
