Geneva “Faye” Williams Wilson, 71, of Chickamauga, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was of the Baptist faith. She was a hairdresser for more than 14 years and then retired from Shaw Ind. in 1992. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be greatly missed.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin H. and Pauline Nichols Williams and brothers, Thomas Williams and Robert Williams.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 50 years, George Wilson; daughter, Rhonda (Joey) Guffey; son, Tony (Paula) Wilson; siblings, James Williams, Betty Hager and Wayne Williams; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18 in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Justin Ownby officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Friday and prior to the service on Saturday.
