Boyd Buchanan students hosted their version of the Olympic Games at Morning Pointe of Hixson
The 2018 Olympics is over, but a group of students at Boyd Buchanan enjoyed keeping their version of the games going at Morning Pointe of Hixson.
The youth hosted a variety of activities for the residents at the assisted living and Alzheimer's memory care community, such as bowling, chair volleyball and a hula hoop contest, to name a few.
"It was a day full of laughter," says Christine Rivers, life enrichment director at Morning Pointe of Hixson. "The best part was that everyone was a winner."
Morning Pointe invites students of all ages to embrace intergenerational fun with the seniors as part of the life enrichment and Meaningful Day programs.
