#2 Lady Roadrunners Tied For Fifth At Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate

#2-ranked Dalton State sits in a tie for fifth after a first round, (+31, 315) on Sunday in the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee Tech at Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tn. Jacksonville State holds the lead after a round of (+15, 299) around the Par-71, 5,803-yard course.

Marshall, (+22, 306), is in second, followed by host Tennessee Tech, (+25, 309), in third.
In fourth is Carson-Newman at (+26, 310). Sharing fifth with Dalton State and rounding out the Top-5 is Radford.

Leading the way for Dalton State was Tia Teiniketo with a round of (+5, 76). She sits in a tie for 11th with Kerri Parks of Marshall and Taylor Hayes of Carson-Newman. In 14th is Isabel Rijos after carding a round of (+6, 77). Tied for for 28th is Haejin Choe with a round of (80)

Heather Nail and Caroline Griffin are in 35th and 39th after rounds of (82) and (83) respectively.

The Lady Birds will tee it up again on Monday for the second of three rounds in the NCAA Division I, Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville.
