Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division Uncovers Smuggling Attempt In Hamilton County Jail

Members of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Special Operations Division intercepted tobacco and methamphetamine ice on Tuesday, during an attempt to smuggle contraband into the Hamilton County Jail.
 
Hamilton County Jail inmate, Derrick Kitchens, along with Megan Beatty and Jon Vance, were charged with criminal conspiracy to smuggling contraband into a penal facility. 
 
Additional charges were placed on Ms. Beatty and Vance for possession of a controlled substance for resale (methamphetamine).
