Virginia Chambers Folds, 92, of Dalton and formerly of Augusta, Ga., passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in Dalton.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Chambers and was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Folds, Jr. and brother, J. W. “Farmer” Chambers.
Virginia was a graduate of the University of Georgia Pharmacy School and was a pharmacist in the Augusta area for 47 years.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas (Lisa Miller) Blaylock of Dalton; niece, Alice (Bill) Hare of Atlanta; nephew, Joe (Rita) Chambers of Dayton, Maryland; and special great- nephew, Burke Hare of Huntsville, Al.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff of The Gardens and to North Georgia Community Hospice for their care and compassion.
At Virginia’s request she will be cremated and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
