Selina Spence
Selina Elaine Spence, 46, of Cleveland, passed away on January 15, 2018, in a local hospital.
She has previously lived in Memphis and Knoxville, but always returned to Cleveland. She attended Cleveland State Community College, Chattanooga State and UT of Knoxville. Selina was an online peer mentor for Bi-Polar and cancer patients. In her youth was involved in Toastmasters International, 4H Club and the Bradley Central High Marching Band. Selina graduated from Bradley Central High School in 1989. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her, father, Jarvie Howard Spence in 2010; grandfather, Jay Lake Bledsoe; brother, Daniel Ray Stewart; uncles, Joe Lee Spence and Charles Bledsoe; and aunt, Norma Jean Wooten.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Sue Bledsoe Spence of Cleveland; sisters, Tonya Spence Casson (Kelcey) of Chattanooga; Crystall Jean Spence of East Ridge; and Angela Spence Mitchell (Robb) of Nashville; brother, David Stewart of Huntington, WV; nephew, Randall (Jay) Jarvie Mitchell of Nashville; niece, Kayleah Sue Casson of Chattanooga; and fiancé, Donny Arkle of Cleveland.
A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Charlie Abrahan officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service.
