Jewell Douglas
Jewell Douglas, 94, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017.
Jewell was born in Pikeville, Tn., and was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. She retired from Miller Brothers with over 47 years of service. Jewell was a member of Clear Creek Church of Christ.
Jewell was preceded in death by her husband, Finis Lee Douglas; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne Lee and Donna Stokes Douglas; grandson, Clint Stokes.
Jewell is survived by her granddaughters, Donna Jackson (Wes Gunner), Brandie (Jon) Nelson and Tiffany (Michael) Grider; several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24, at the North Chapel.
Graveside services for Jewell will be held at 1 p.m. CDT on Friday, Aug. 25, at Pikeville City Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn.
