Ann Johnson Stultz, of Rock Spring, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the age of 84.

She was born in LaFayette (Linwood) on July 5, 1932, to the late Clyde Robert Johnson and Edith Brock Johnson. A graduate of LaFayette High School, Ann followed her heart and aspiration for helping others by pursing a nursing degree from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing. Her nursing career spanned a variety of medical areas before a 31-year stint as director of nursing with Tri-County-Hutcheson Medical Center. Her passion for nursing was equaled for her love of cats, as she was a very generous and monumental financial supporter of animal shelters. She was an avid history buff, and enjoyed local Walker County history.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Stultz.

Survivors include special friend/caregiver, Tammy Parshall, who Ann considered as a daughter; her son, Robert “Robby” (Andrea) Stultz of Fort Oglethorpe; and grandchildren, Robert Brandon (Christa) Stultz and Patrick Chase Stultz.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 23, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel.

Interment will be in LaFayette City Cemetery.

Visitation at the funeral home will be on Friday, from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
