Mary Jane Wise, 79, of East Ridge, died on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 surrounded by her family.
She was born on Dec. 29, 1937, to the late Edwin and Mildred Ross of Laager, Tn. Her greatest joy and accomplishment in life was her three sons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin “Doug” Wise, with whom she co-owned D&M Tours; son, Barry Wise; three sisters, Joann Brownlee of Florist, Brenda Pickett and Royce Sitz of Gruetli-Laager, TN; and three brothers, John E., Paul Wayne and Lee Doug Ross.
She is survived by two sons, Christopher of Rocky Face, GA, and Daniel (Boonie) Wise of Cohutta, GA; a very special daughter-in-law, Louise Wise; grandsons, Gregg (JoAnna), Andy, and Jonathan (Haley) Wise; granddaughters, Danielle (Sean) Kean, Amanda (Jacob) Saylor; great-grandchildren, Archer Mauldin, Jaxon Saylor, Olivia Wise, Mallory Wise, Riddick Wise; brother, Greg Ross of Gruetli-Laager, TN; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Magalene Overturf and Mickey Fraterman.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 26, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27, at 12 p.m. in the East Chapel.
Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
