Heritage House Arts & Civic Center Hosts Tim Moore, Derek Wayne Martin, Ethen Martin, Jamion Williams

  • Wednesday, April 26, 2017

On the second Tuesday of every month something very special takes place at The Heritage House Arts and Civic Center in East Brainerd.

From 7-9 p.m., four singer-songwriters from the Chattanooga community put on an intimate house concert -- “The Writer's Night."

Every month concertgoers have the opportunity to hear some of the best singer-songwriters that the Scenic City has to offer, presented in an ideal listening environment with light refreshments.

The May 2017 edition of 'Live From The House’ (brought to you by Heritage House & the Chattanooga Songwriters Association) will feature:

- Tim Moore

- Derek Wayne Martin

- Ethen Martin

- Jamion Williams (host)

So come join your fellow original music lovers in the comfy confines of the Heritage House parlor as we hear these talented singer-songwriters perform their works and share the very personal stories that inspired them — all in a pleasant atmosphere which allows attendees to concentrate on the music as it was meant to be heard.

This event is offered as a free event to the public via the sponsorship of the Chattanooga Department of Youth & Family Development and the friendly staff of the Heritage House.

Come early — From 6:30-7 p.m. attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with our songwriters over a cup of coffee.

Lineups are subject to change based on artist availability.

Heritage House is at 1428 Jenkins Road in East Brainerd.

If coming from Interstate-24, take the (East) E.

Brainerd Road exit and follow approximately 1.5 miles to the stop light in front of the Food City Grocery Plaza. Turn left at the Pizza Hut and then immediately right into Heritage Park. The mansion at the center of the park is where the concert is held.

For more information, please call Heritage House manager Chris Holley at 423 855-9474.

Concert starts promptly at 7 p.m.
