Annie Ruth Wyrick, 92, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stiles Edd Wyrick; daughter, Patricia Ann Wyrick; son, Steve Wyrick; grandson, Chase Perrin; parents, JN and Ida Baxter Johns; and brothers, Gordon, Hubert and Trammel Johns.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Sandra and L.C. Bigham of Tunnel Hill, Brenda Wyrick of Dalton; a daughter-in-law, Joy Wyrick of Ringgold; sister and brother in-law, Doris and Marvin Grant of Dalton; grandchildren, Beth Matthews, Amy Perrin, Lorrie Watkins, David Bigham and Cathy Scott; great-grandchildren, Wesley Deming, Sara Swearingen, Ashley Lain, Gracie Perrin, Kelsey Gordon, Amber Talbot, Madison Talbot, Cameron McCleskey, Keith Murphy and Kyle Banks; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Wyrick will be held Monday, April 24, at 1 p.m. at the Center Point Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Futch and Rev. George Ross officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Sunday, April 23 from 5-8 p.m.
