Chattanooga entrepreneurs and owners of Chattanooga’s only treehouse boutique hotel, Andrew Alms and Enoch Elwell of Treetop Hideaways have partnered with Dove Men+Care to build the second treehouse on their property – and construction is here.
The Chattanooga community is invited to join in officially kicking off the build process with a family-friendly evening of fun on Saturday from 5:30-10 p.m. The event will include free activities for kids and families, dinner, product giveaways, a bonfire with s’mores and more.
The new treehouse is inspired by the ingredients in the brand’s new nature-inspired Elements grooming range and will be equipped with a luxury bathroom with a glass-enclosed tree intersecting the space, skylight loft built for star-gazing, and living green plant walls on the exterior.
Here is the schedule of events:
Treetop Hideaways Property Tours (5:30-8 p.m.) – Check out the existing treehouse
Treehouse Construction Tour (5:30-8 p.m.) – See the custom hardware used to mount the treehouse safely to the tree
Shu Sugi Ban Demo (6-7 p.m.) – Demo of the specialty charred wood "Shu Sugi Ban" finish used in the treehouse, highlighting the charcoal featured in the Elements grooming line
Herb Planting Station (5:30-8 p.m.) – Activity for kids to plant herbs to take home as gifts, highlighting the sage featured in the Elements grooming line
Dinner from Argentinian Asado Grill (6-7:30 p.m.) – Selection of specialty grilled meats and veggies
Bonfire (8-10 p.m.) – Enjoy s'mores, drinks, and conversations
Treetop Hideaways is at 576 Chattanooga Valley Road in Flintstone. An RSVP on Facebook is not required, but helpful.
