3 Acres Donated For Extension Of South Chickamauga Creek Greenway

Three acres in two tracts is being transferred from the Trust for Public Land to the city for the extension of the South Chickamauga Creek Greenway.

The Adams Tracts are located by the creek near Youngstown Road.

The greenway currently stops nearby.

The final parcels are being obtained that will allow it to be built on to the Brainerd Levee at North Moore Road and Shallowford Road.

There will then be a completed trail from the Tennessee Riverwalk by the river to Camp Jordan Park in East Ridge.
