Thomas Randall “Randy” Young, 62, of LaFayette, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017.
He had worked as a supervisor for Crystal Spring Bleachery in Chickamauga. Randy was a licensed HAM Radio operator and his CB handle was KR4UA.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jason Young; brother, Tony Young; sister, Deborah Tate Jones; and sister-in-law, Beth Young.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy Young of LaFayette; daughter, Amanda (Chris Anderson) Young of LaFayette; mother, Esto Ellison Young of LaFayette; grandchildren, Jacob and Austin; sister, Marilyn Tate Houser; brother, Mark (Gloria) Young of OK; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Dennison officiating. Interment will be in LaFayette Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Steve Ezell, Steve Willingham, Troy Chapman, David Hooper, Mike Sherman, and Chris Anderson.
Visitation will be from 6–9 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
