Phyllis Rose
Phyllis Jean Rose, 74, of Sale Creek, went home to be with the Lord after an extended illness on Saturday, January 21, 2017.

Phyllis was a native of Soddy Daisy, the daughter of the late Ralph and Esther Eustice. 

She retired from TVA after many years of service and enjoyed attending Calvary Baptist Church on Bell Avenue in North Chattanooga. Phyllis was also active in the Sweet and Sassy Red Hatters 
and was the number one “cheerleader” for the Our Fair Ladies of Rhea County. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Eva Dean Snyder. 

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Gentry; sons, Barry Eustice, Brian Sutherland (Jenny), and Tracy Sutherland (Crystal); grandchildren, Ethan Sutherland, Tyler Gentry (Courtney), Tiffany Eustice, and Bentley Sutherland; great-grandchildren, Landon and Logan Gentry; and many special friends, including, Sylvia Capps and Robbie Jennings. 

A ceremony to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Vernon Sneed and Steve Jones officiating. 

The family will gather with friends on Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rhea of Sunshine, 343 W 13th Ave., Dayton, TN 37321.
