Lottie Mae Pharr Alton Fry Pierce, 97, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017.
A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, she was a member of Nellie Head Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Sweetwater where she worked for 15 years, and was a former employee of Catoosa County where she worked for the library for two years. Lottie drove a bus for Walker County Seniors and was a member of the Ringgold Nutrition Center.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Paris Alton, James Albert Fry and Verlin Pierce; daughter, Faye Belyeu; parents, Calvin Jarrett Richard and Pearl Mae Crump Pharr; sister, Thelma Carden; and four brothers, Otis, Howard, J.C. and Burgess Pharr. She is survived by three children, Richard (Reba) Alton, of Ringgold, James Fry of Ringgold, and Jan Darling of Oxford, OH.; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Anderson Cemetery with Chaplain Tommy Deal officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
