As National Preparedness Month draws to a close, Whitfield County Emergency Management Agency and the Local Emergency Planning Committee invite the public to Community Disaster Awareness Day at Home Depot at 875 Shugart Road in Dalton from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday, October 1.
Community Disaster Awareness Day is being held in conjunction with Home Depot’s Safety Day and Whitfield’s PrepareAthon! campaign.
