CHI Memorial Foundation, the fundraising arm of CHI Memorial, announced its officers and members of the board of directors for 2016-2017.
MaryStewart Lewis will continue her role as chair of the board of directors for CHI Memorial Foundation. Hodgen Mainda will serve as vice chair, Dan Norton will serve as treasurer and Sue Culpepper will serve as secretary. Members at large include Lee Jackson, M.D., and Rich Kramer.
Eric Campbell, Janie Jones, Steve Newton and Stephanie Sinkfield are new members of the CHI Memorial Foundation board of directors. They join Carlos Baleeiro, M.D.; Julie Brandao; Leo Brown; Jayne Brzezienski; Brad Burcham; Bruce Hartmann; Warren Logan; Lisa Maclellan; Susan Maclellan; Dana Perry; Betsy Ranalli; Sanford Sharp, M.D.; Dawn Shea; Paula Shuford; David Wendt, M.D.; and James Woods.
Eric Campbell is the vice president of property and casualty for Reliance Partners. He currently serves as the president of the Insurers of Chattanooga and also serves the community as a partner of the Austin Hatcher Foundation. Janie Jones, a resident of Cleveland, TN, has served on the board of the Chattanooga/Cleveland Symphony Guild, the Cleveland/Athens Cotillion and is also on the board of directors of Creditcorp and other Jones Management companies. Steve Newton recently retired as vice president of information technology from Chattanooga based CBL and Associates Properties, Inc. and now is principal owner of STN Information Technology Consulting, LLC. Steve is a Sister of Charity of Nazareth Associate member. Stephanie Sinkfield is a State Farm agent in Chattanooga, as well as an author, YMCA youth girls’ basketball coach, a mentor at the Chattanooga Urban League to small business owners, and a past board member of Habitat for Humanity.
Members ex-officio are Jennifer Nicely, president, CHI Memorial Foundation, and Larry Schumacher, CEO, CHI Memorial, and senior vice president, operations, S/E division, Catholic Health Initiatives.
