Jamie Swanson, 44, of Benton, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland, TN.
He loved Polk County High School sports and attended all the sporting events. He was an honorary member of Mt. View Baptist Church and was loved by everyone.
He is survived by mother, Liz Swanson; father, James Swanson; special cousin, Jo Ann Combs; cousins, Jack Green, Regina Raines, Larry Barker, Lynn Barker, Jimmy Watson and Glen Watson; special uncle, Grover Swanson; and special friend, Kenneth Norwood.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28 at Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Marvin Morgan and Reverend Pete Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
