Sharp, Josiah David Nathaniel

  • Friday, July 29, 2016

Josiah David Nathanael Sharp’s arrival was anticipated greatly by his family. Though he came early, he was fearfully and wonderfully made. He was born to Nathan and Emily Sharp on July 22, 2016, but took his first breath in the arms of God. He will be greatly missed and always deeply loved.

He is survived by his parents, sister Laurel, brother Reuben, grandparents Joseph and Marsha Watlington; aunts Michele Gray, Rebecca (Bruce) Jordan, and Laura (Drew) Daugherty; uncles James and Mark Watlington; great-grandparents Rev. Elton Watlington; and Gloria Orner, and many cousins, great-aunts, and great-uncles. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Gordon and Freda Sharpe, grandmother Debra Watlington; great-grandparents Rev. Jim Orner, Janice Watlington, John and Virginia Castle, Mattie-Lynn Trammell, and Orlie Sharp.

The family will be holding a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, at New City Fellowship, 2424 East 3rd Street, Chattanooga, TN 37404. There will be a dessert reception to follow. All are welcome to join us in celebrating our boy. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Chambliss Center for Children to help the life of another precious child.
