James Perry Lumley, Sr., 57, of Menlo, Georgia, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Floyd Medical Center.
Mr. Lumley was born May 9, 1959, in Dublin, Ga., son of Benjamin James Lumley and Amanda Hutchenson Lumley. He was a graduate of Washington County High School in Sandersonville, Ga. He was a member of the East Trion Church of God, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Mount Vernon Mills.
Mr. Lumley was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rev. R.L. and Annie Mae Lumley; and paternal grandparents, Charles M. and Mary Elizabeth Hutchenson.
Mr. Lumley is survived by his wife, Bobbie Hudgins Lumley; son, Jay Lumley, Jr.; daughters, Pam Lumley and Michaela Lumley; parents, Bejamin and Amanda Lumley; brothers, Joel Lumley and Chris Lumley; sisters, Celia Rhodes and Lisa Lumley; and four grandchildren.
