It's concerning that the Republican Party elite attending the recent convention would indict, convict and jail a political opponent, when the FBI found no criminal intent to compromise national security and no other law violations were found.
This "lock her up" mob mentality is third world, over-the-edge behavior that has no place in a country based on the rule-of-law, where people are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Hillary made some careless judgments at times. However, she's not a criminal, according to a well-respected FBI official. and the Benghazi panel found no apparent criminal wrongdoing either.
If the Republican Party wants to be the party of "law and order," as they claim, my advice would be to stop advocating the "locking up" of political opponents who haven't been indicted, tried or convicted of anything. This type of behavior is a disservice to our country and the democratic process.
As a party, let's conduct ourselves in a civil manner and base policy positions on actual facts, rule of law, good research, solid data, known evidence, the Constitution and common sense reasoning.

Tim, your political bias is showing. A Banana Republic is a government politically unstable and run by foreign interest. Hillary would have been indicted on the evidence presented if her private political party wasn’t in control of our crony government.
FBI directors present evidence to the Justice Department and the Justice Department decides if there is enough evidence to indict. It was handled backwards so Lynch had a way out .
Are the Clintons above the law because Democrats are in office? Comey is connected to the Clinton Foundation and a Democrat.
This is not the first time the Justice Department has protected the Clintons. Attorney General Janet Reno delayed a decision on whether an independent counsel should investigate allegations that a top aide to President Clinton committed perjury during a Senate campaign finance probe.
The law should apply to everybody equally unless you live in a Banana Republic.

One of the wisest decisions our founders made was to design a system that would be resistant to mob rule. It's a good thing we don't try suspects at political conventions because people are highly suggestible - especially at meetings like this. I'm not sure Mr. Davis was watching Director Comey's press conference because he clearly stated that in certain high profile cases the FBI will make recommendations to the Justice Department on whether to proceed with charges and this was one of those cases.
Then he does exactly what he accuses Clinton of doing and tells an outright lie. Director Comey is not a Democrat. Iin fact he has been, until recently, a registered Republican and he contributed to the campaigns of both John McCain and Mitt Romney. The only people who believe that Comey is connected to Clinton are the Alex Jones types and you would do well to stop listening to them.
"Only facts matter," Comey said in his statement, "and the FBI found them here in an entirely apolitical and professional way. I couldn’t be prouder to be part of this organization."
Just another example of Republicans denying facts because they don't coincide with their worldview.
